MapText Boosts Presence in Canadian MapInfo Market

MapText and KOREM - MapInfo's master distributor for the province of Quebec - signed a software reseller agreement to distribute MapText's Label-EZ™ automated cartographic text placement product in Canada, the companies announced today.

MapText's market-leading software system, Label-EZ, places text fully automatically on maps of any scale and style according to the highest cartographic standards, quickly and cost-effectively. Considering that text placement is the most expensive and time-consuming part of mapmaking, Label-EZ's impact on productivity is enormous. In addition to MapInfo, Label-EZ is fully compatible with most other major GIS systems.
