Plainsboro,
New Jersey - August 18, 2003
Critchlow Associates of Wellington,
New Zealand (www.critchlow.co.nz),
signed a reseller agreement this month with MapText, Inc.
authorizing them to market Label-EZ in Australia.
Label-EZ is used to automate large volumes of text
placement, allowing high quality maps and charts to be produced
in minutes instead of weeks.
Critchlow first used Label-EZ
back in 2000 to auto-generate 8,000 different census maps
in a short time span of 4 months. Finding Label-EZ
to be far superior to any other software on the market,
Critchlow became the reseller for it in New Zealand. "The
most tedious part of mapping is the labeling", says
Steve Critchlow, Managing Director of Critchlow Associates.
"Label-EZ takes the drudgery out of the task while being
very cost effective."
On investigating further growth for
Label-EZ, Critchlow identified a gap in the Australian
market. Seizing the opportunity to bring Label-EZ
to the Australian market was realized this month when the
reseller agreement was signed between Critchlow Associates
and MapText, Inc., developers of the software.
Label-EZ has enormous productivity
implications for the mapping industry, reducing weeks of
tedious manual name placement to a matter of minutes, with
a high degree of reliability, uniformity and cartographic
quality.
